age first HM attack 6y; age first aura 60y;p atient reports mainly unilateral aura symptoms and occasional aura with bilateral sensory and motor symptoms. Since age 6, she has had repeated, daily (up to 10 times per day) stereotyped, bilateral transient blindness of maximum 10 seconds. Complete darkness and blindness in both eyes come up from the peripheral field to the central vision. There is no associated headache or any other neurologic symptoms before, during or after the transient blindness episodes. |
